Meta and NVIDIA Join Forces to Revolutionize AI Infrastructure

The deal emphasizes large-scale deployment of advanced NVIDIA CPUs, GPUs and networking technologies to support Meta’s long-term roadmap for AI training and inference.

Under the agreement, Meta will construct and equip next-generation hyperscale facilities with millions of NVIDIA Blackwell and Rubin GPUs—high-performance processors designed for intensive AI workloads—as well as expanded use of Arm-based NVIDIA Grace CPUs and future Vera CPUs targeted for broad deployment in 2027.

Meta’s infrastructure will also adopt NVIDIA’s Spectrum-X™ Ethernet switches across its data center footprint, improving network efficiency, throughput, and low-latency AI scaling, while establishing a unified architecture that spans both on-premises environments and NVIDIA Cloud Partner systems.

In addition, Meta has integrated NVIDIA Confidential Computing for secure, privacy-focused AI processing—initially deployed to enable new AI capabilities within WhatsApp without compromising user data integrity. This move highlights a growing emphasis on privacy-enhanced AI as Meta scales its AI services across billions of users.

NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang highlighted the scale of Meta’s AI ambitions, noting that no other organisation deploys AI infrastructure at Meta’s footprint and performance requirements, referencing deep integration between CPUs, GPUs, networking and software.
