By VETTAPHARMA reporter – Derek Roche: Regeneron Pharmaceuticals reported new data showing that Lynozyfic (linvoseltamab) monotherapy demonstrated deep and rapid responses in patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma who had previously received multiple lines of treatment. The findings were generated from the ongoing LINKER-MM1 clinical trial, evaluating linvoseltamab as a BCMAxCD3 bispecific antibody in heavily pretreated patients with multiple myeloma. The study assessed overall response rates, depth of response, and durability of disease control following treatment.
Among efficacy-evaluable patients receiving the recommended dose, treatment with Lynozyfic produced high overall response rates with rapid onset of response, including achievement of stringent complete responses and very good partial responses in patients with advanced disease.
Linvoseltamab is designed to simultaneously bind BCMA-expressing myeloma cells and CD3-positive T cells, redirecting immune activity toward malignant plasma cells and supporting targeted immune-mediated tumor destruction.
The programme reflects Regeneron’s strategy of expanding its hematology and oncology portfolio through bispecific antibody platforms, particularly in cancers where relapse and treatment resistance remain major clinical challenges.
For patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, the therapy may provide an additional treatment option capable of generating meaningful responses after failure of standard therapies, including proteasome inhibitors, immunomodulatory agents, and anti-CD38 therapies.
From a commercial perspective, positive data from Lynozyfic may strengthen Regeneron’s position in the growing multiple myeloma immunotherapy market, particularly as demand increases for off-the-shelf T-cell engaging therapies with durable efficacy potential.
Quick FAQs
1. What is Lynozyfic (linvoseltamab)?
Lynozyfic is an investigational BCMAxCD3 bispecific antibody being developed for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma.
2. Which trial is evaluating Lynozyfic?
The therapy is being studied in the ongoing LINKER-MM1 clinical trial in heavily pretreated multiple myeloma patients.
3. How does linvoseltamab work?
It binds both BCMA on myeloma cells and CD3 on T cells to direct immune attack against cancer cells.
4. What did the latest Lynozyfic data show?
The study demonstrated deep and rapid responses in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
