GE HealthCare Partners with Diagnoly for AI-Powered Ultrasound

By VETTAPHARMA reporter: Chicago, February 5, 2026 — GE HealthCare (Nasdaq: GEHC) has announced a collaboration with Diagnoly, a DeepTech company specializing in AI-driven prenatal screening, to strengthen its artificial intelligence (AI) offerings in fetal ultrasound examinations. The agreement focuses on integrating Diagnoly’s Fetoly™ real-time AI solution into GE HealthCare’s Voluson™ women’s health ultrasound systems.

The partnership aims to enhance fetal imaging by bringing advanced cardiac and brain analysis capabilities to Voluson users, enabling more comprehensive and standardized fetal examinations. Fetoly is now available in the United States and Europe through the Voluson Solution Store, described as the first digital marketplace dedicated to women’s health ultrasound.

Ultrasound is a critical tool throughout pregnancy, offering insights into fetal growth, development, and potential congenital conditions. However, challenges such as high fetal movement, increased maternal abdominal wall thickness, and operator variability can limit exam consistency and quality. Integrating AI-enabled tools into ultrasound workflows is intended to help clinicians streamline examinations, reduce workload, and improve consistency and accuracy of fetal assessments.

According to GE HealthCare, Fetoly is a real-time AI solution designed to deliver standardized fetal ultrasound examinations aligned with International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) guidelines. The technology provides AI-powered diagnostic support for fetal heart and brain analysis while continuously verifying exam completeness and quality criteria during scans.

Gerald Seifriedsberger, General Manager of Women’s Health Ultrasound at GE HealthCare, said the collaboration expands the company’s ability to integrate advanced AI-based screening tools into Voluson ultrasound systems, supporting clinicians in delivering improved care for women and their babies.

Diagnoly highlighted the clinical need for improved prenatal screening, noting that up to 50% of fetal abnormalities remain undetected during pregnancy, underscoring the complexity of obstetric ultrasound. Ivan Voznyuk, Co-Founder and CEO of Diagnoly, stated that integrating Fetoly into Voluson systems reflects a shared commitment to making high-quality screening more accurate, accessible, and consistent in real-time clinical practice.

Fetoly is U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) cleared and CE marked. The AI application is available as a free trial on the Voluson Solution Store and other major mobile app platforms.

GE HealthCare will showcase Voluson ultrasound systems integrated with Fetoly at the 2026 Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) Pregnancy Meeting, scheduled to take place February 8–13, 2026, in Las Vegas.
